I would highly recommend visiting this Dunham’s location if you want good service! I had gone to another location to inquire about a basketball hoop and they were not knowledgeable about the product, did not have the patience to answer questions, and were just not helpful at all. I called the Allen Park store to see if they had one and they did so I went there since I didn’t want to give my business to the other store. When I got there I was greeted right away and they were ready to go show me the basketball hoop. I was helped my Josh & Liam and they both provided excellent service! They were very knowledgeable about the different hoops and were able to answer all my questions and help me find the best option for what I was interested in. They were very kind and patient with me. They also helped carry it out to my car, which I appreciated. I felt very well taken care of and left the store happy with my purchase. I will definitely continue to come to this store for any sports equipment needs. Thank you, Josh & Liam!!!

Bought a kayak (my 4th from this store) had a horrible experience on it very tippy, drain plugs submerged below the water line making the whole deck covered in water, i asked to exchange it 6 hrs after purchase, but was told since i put it in water and its not a defect and just a bad product theres nothing they could do. Lost a loyal customer whos spent thousands in this store alone.

Came into the store with a return. Cashier looked at me as I entered, rolled her eyes, no greeting. Cold customer service throughout the entire transaction. Haven't had this type off experience in a while...couldn't help but to think was I the wrong nationality for her liking? Businesses need to do better selecting staff to represent their brand. Definitely will not shop at this store again nor will I recommend.

Stopped in Dunhams today, March 3, 2026 only because we were in the area. My plan was to go to Dick’s. The store looked deserted The lighting is very down. There were three people at the register when I walked in 1 salesperson helped me with a pair of shoes and then walked off back to the register where the other three people was I proceeded to go to the register and asked for the shoe in my size. their was a manager standing there and three sales people. They told me to hold on a minute. I said it’s three people standing here and no one can go and get me this pair of shoes to try on I knew I should’ve went to Dick‘s as I walked out the door. The female manager proceeded to say have a blessed day as if she was wishing me well. However, I did drive to Dick’s and spent $300 later and talked to the manager there and told him about my experience at Dunhams. The manager at Dicks was very happy to hear such a great compliment. Customer service is very important customers will remember how you make them feel and I’ll never forget how I felt at Dunham’s and Allen Park.

In this corporate controlled world I wanted to take the time to give a shout out to the ladies working the day shift here at the Allen Park, Dunhams! We wanted to buy the kids something cool and fun to play with outside and they had the Spaulding 54” backboard on sale for $379, and we had a few extra bucks from our tax returns so we splurged. All in all it was pretty simple to assemble on my own but I did need a few helping hands towards the end. The instructions were easy to follow and there weren’t any missing pieces. Except the glass backboard had been damaged in transit, it happens. Unknown to me, because when I got it home I just started with the base and left the protective wrapping on the backboard to keep it from getting damaged. Well most places would make your reorder the part from the manufacturer and the kids would be SOL for some Easter Day basketball in the driveway. But these awesome people parted out the extra one they had on hand and even had it waiting for me when I got the damaged one back to store. And were very understanding!! I even beat everyone at PIG this morning!Happy Easter indeed, thank you very much and you know who you are! People helping people and
